VILLA HAPPY BAY
Villa Happy Bay is an appealing property at hillside above Happy Bay and Friars Bay on the Caribbean side of the island. It grants great views over the sea in Northern direction towards the island of Anguilla, and to the West with astonishing sunsets. It is close to the “gourmet capital” of the Caribbean of Grand Case, just about 1/2 mile away.
VillaHappy Bay is very private
The 2 bedroom, 2 ½ bath, very private and secluded villa sits on a slope overlooking Happy Bay, the last untouched beach of St Martin-St Maarten. The unobstructed views from the pool, the deck, the terrace and from almost every room of Villa Happy Bay are breathtaking. You’ll have a panoramic view over Happy Bay Beach, the blue turquoise Caribbean sea, neighboring Anguilla and sailing boats occasionally passing by.
The villa has all you would expect, and more from a modern villa, which was built in 2005. The owners live on the island and take care for this property with great attention, and equipped it, like it would be for their own use. The kitchen is new as everything, well equipped, a washer/dryer in a separate room, even an additional icemaker is there, and many other convenient items for a great vacation. Internet access through modem access is available and free of charge. US-satellite tv with some 100+ channels is available.
The villa features several outdoor sitting areas on each side of the pool, as well as on the covered terrace. The infinity pool, overlooking the Caribbean, has a good size of 4 × 8 m (14’ by 26’). The pool and deck are very private and allow swimming and sunbathing "au natural".
There are two beaches in close vicinity, either a short walk down the hill to Happy Bay Beach or a short drive to Friar’s Bay. Happy Bay is only accessible by walking, about 4 min down, about 6 min up. Both beaches are very appealing.
Families with children
Good to know for families traveling with young children: the access to the pool can be secured for children by security gates on each side of the pool and the terrace.
